"It is the official stance of the National Football League that a player who attempts to make a date with an employee of his team is gross. Mr. Favre's marital status may augment the seriousness of his offense in many minds, but let us be clear that any player who makes unwanted sexual advances toward sideline reporters, administrative staff, locker room personnel, or any other employee of the National Football League is equally gross.
"At this time we have no punishment in place for unnecessary grossness, but, in light of recent events, we are investigating several possibilities. In the meantime, we wish to state publicly and for the record that Mr. Favre's game is weak and his penis unimpressive. Please direct your attention to the screen behind me for examples of the latter.
"Thank you for your time."
